FRAUD ALERT
We’ve recently learned that some customers are receiving phone calls and text messages that falsely appear to be from First State Bank and Trust. These messages are designed to trick recipients into sharing personal information such as driver’s license numbers, account details or Social Security numbers.
In many cases, these texts are followed by phone calls that seem to come from our official number – this tactic is known as caller ID spoofing.
Please do not engage with these messages or calls. If you receive one, hang up immediately. If you’ve already responded or shared any sensitive information, contact us directly as soon as possible.
Protecting your personal information is our highest priority. Thank you for staying vigilant.
